My story and background

Pamela in a circular chair

Hello, I'm Pamela, the founder of Serenity & Calm.

I know what it feels like to struggle quietly.

For over 32 years, I worked in care roles, often putting other people’s needs before my own. During periods of anxiety and depression, I reached a point where something had to change. Working with a life coach and completing an anxiety programme that included EFT and NLP helped me understand how deeply stress, unfulfilled purpose, and emotional overload affect the body and mind.

That experience changed my life. It led me to Reiki, first for my own healing, and later as a practitioner. I went on to train in EFT and continue to deepen my understanding of emotional and energy based healing.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I understand what it is like to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and I bring that understanding into every session.

I work intuitively, gently, and at your pace. My aim is not to fix you, but to support your system so you can feel calmer, clearer, and more able to live your life in a way that feels right for you.

Outside of my work, I value quiet moments, time in nature, meditation, reading, and rest. These are not luxuries. They are part of living well, and I encourage clients to find what helps them feel grounded too.

What it’s like to work with me

Sessions take place in a warm, welcoming space in Glasgow and surrounding areas, creating a calm environment where you can feel safe and supported. For those who prefer the comfort of their own home, EFT sessions are also available online, giving you the flexibility to work in a space that feels familiar.

I approach each session with attentiveness and care, tuning into what you need in the moment. There is no rush and no pressure, the pace is guided by you. My focus is on helping you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.

Sessions are interactive, and I will often provide gentle guidance, practical techniques, or reflections you can take with you between sessions to continue the work at home.

Above all, the space I create is one of acceptance and compassion. You are encouraged to explore your emotions, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your inner guidance, all at a pace that feels right for you.

Who I work with

I work with people from all walks of life who want to feel calmer and more at ease in themselves.

This includes people experiencing work-related stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low mood, or a sense of disconnection. It also supports those navigating menopause, chronic tension, life transitions, or difficult experiences that leave you feeling stuck.

If you feel tired of coping and want support that feels gentle and human, you are welcome here.

My values and approach to my work

I offer a small number of therapies that work beautifully on their own and together. Each one supports emotional balance and gentle healing.

Compassion

I meet everyone with kindness and understanding, creating a safe space where you can explore your emotions without judgement. You are encouraged to be yourself, with all your feelings welcome.

Presence

I focus fully on you during each session, listening closely and responding to your needs in the moment. This attention allows sessions to flow naturally and feels supportive and collaborative.

Respect

Your experiences, boundaries, and pace are always honoured. I work alongside you, never pushing or rushing, and trust that each step you take is meaningful and important.

Clarity

I provide insight, guidance, and practical tools to help you understand your emotions and energy. Sessions create space for reflection and understanding you can carry into daily life.
